RepairSplash is a B2B SaaS platform built for pool service companies. We help pool professionals manage repair recommendations, communicate with homeowners, and track approval outcomes: all in one place. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

By creating an account or using the RepairSplash platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Company information: business name, billing address, and subscription details provided during account registration.
  • User account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) for individuals who access the platform.
  • Customer contact information: the names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service addresses of homeowners entered by pool companies using RepairSplash.
  • Repair data: technician notes, issue types, estimated prices, repair photos, AI-generated messages, and homeowner responses.
  • Usage data: feature interactions, session logs, and browser/device information collected automatically to help us improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the RepairSplash platform.
  • Generate AI-assisted repair recommendation messages on behalf of pool companies.
  • Send approval emails and SMS messages to homeowners at the direction of their pool service company.
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing.
  • Respond to support requests and improve product quality.
  • Send transactional and product update communications to account holders.

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' personal information to third parties.

4. Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers to deliver RepairSplash. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it:

  • Supabase: database hosting and user authentication.
  • OpenAI: AI-powered message generation.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.
  • Twilio: SMS communications.
  • Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Vercel: application hosting and infrastructure.

5. SMS Communications

RepairSplash enables pool companies to send SMS messages to their homeowner customers for repair approval and follow-up purposes. Pool companies are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before initiating any SMS communication through the platform.

RepairSplash complies with applicable carrier requirements. Homeowners can reply STOP at any time to opt out of future SMS messages.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and your customers' information for as long as your RepairSplash account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security in our database, and secure credential management. While no system is perfectly secure, we take the protection of your information seriously and review our practices regularly.
